Providence

1 John 4:1 reminds us not to believe every spirit, but to test them to see whether they are from God. True conviction aligns with Scripture and leads to repentance and peace, not chaos or worldly anxiety.

Galatians 5:22-23 outlines the evidence of God's work in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When discerning a decision or feeling, look for these fruits.

Romans 1:20 states that God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. Nature often acts as a parable for spiritual truths.

1 Kings 19 shows us that God is not always in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. Often, His guidance comes as a gentle whisper—a quiet, steady peace in the depths of our spirit.
